The Review!
The Piña Colada; nemesis of bartenders everywhere. I love them, and despite being made of only 4 ingredients (pineapple, coconut, rum, ice) - they are weirdly variable!

I think this is due to a few factors:
Supposedly, a "true" pina colada uses specifically "Coco Lopez" Cream of Coconut. Personally I don't think any one company should own a recipe. That said, this stuff is delicious, unlike regular Coconut Cream (which is not sweet) it's 50% sugar cane, so it's more akin to condensed milk. That will either be a pro or a con to you depending on your personal taste. Of course, you could just add sugar to regular coconut cream to get the same effect.

The current can label seems to have been designed at some point in the 1990s (?) and it is a thing of beauty. It perfectly captures the tacky vintage charm of the Piña Colada. The mascot, which I think is from the 50s (?) is also great. Anyway, on with the reviews!

Where? Giraffe - Heathrow Airport - London - England When? January 2024 Verdict? Thumbs Up

Ordered the Mango Colada and it was delicious. The mango and lime gave it an unexpected tangy twist.

Where? Bingin Beach - Bali - Indonesia When? February 2024 Verdict? Thumbs Down

Can't remember the name of the place, but there was a two story surf shack type thing. The drink tasted like drain cleaner but the view was amazing so I can't complain!
